Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 25, 2026

Overview

RecurseClaw is an OpenClaw client that connects to your self-hosted gateway. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data RecurseClaw handles and how.

Data We Do Not Collect

RecurseClaw does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following to us:

How RecurseClaw Works

RecurseClaw connects directly to an OpenClaw gateway that you control. All communication happens between your device and your gateway over WebSocket (ws:// or wss://). We have no access to this connection.

On-Device Processing

Third-Party Services

RecurseClaw does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app communicates only with the gateway you configure.

TestFlight

During the TestFlight beta period, Apple may collect crash logs and usage data as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. This is standard for all TestFlight apps and is managed by Apple, not by us.

Data Security

We recommend using wss:// (secure WebSocket) when connecting to your gateway over the internet. RecurseClaw supports TLS-encrypted connections.

Children's Privacy

RecurseClaw is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
